Care and Maintenance:

1. As with any quality floor, regular maintenance will keep your cork floor looking beautiful and assure its long life, even under heavy use.

2. Cleaning - Keep the floor surface free of dirt and grit through regular mopping. Use a WELL wrung out damp mop to perform this procedure. Clean up spills and excess water immediately. Never flood the floor surface with any liquid or use harsh abrasive cleaners.

3. Furniture rests are recommended to prevent indentations in the tiles.

4. Entrance mats are recommended in order to keep dirt and moisture from coming in contact with the floor. Do not allow a moisture saturated floor mat to remain on the cork floor.

5. Cork floor tiles may be refinished. Please contact us for complete details and instruction.

Warranty:

All Cork Decor products are carefully inspected prior to shipping. Final inspection and approval is the customers responsibility. Patterns and colors must be verified as correct before installation. Claims cannot be accepted for installation of incorrect material.

Cork Decor warrants for a period of (1) year after shipment that its' cork floor and wall tile are free from manufacturing defects.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER: 1. Workmanship of installation, 2. Dissatisfaction, problems or damage due to improper installation, 3. Damage due to accident or abuse, 4. Dissatisfaction, problems or damage due to irregularities caused by the subfloor including, but not limited to hydrostatic pressure in the subfloor, 5. Dissatisfaction based upon shade or color variations in the tiles.

THE WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR PURPOSE OR OTHER WARRANTY OF QUALITY, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AND ALL OTHER LIABILITIES AND OBLIGATIONS ON THE PART OF CORK DECOR.

Limitation of Liability:

The buyer's sole and exclusive remedy against Cork Decor shall be, at the option of Cork Decor, replacement of the defective material or refund of the purchase price of the floor tile. In no case will Cork Decor be liable for labor to remove and/or reinstall its' cork floor tile and/or cork wall tiles.

In no event shall Cork Decor be liable for direct, indirect, general, special, incidental, consequential or other damages of any kind whatsoever, regardless of the causes of such damage.

For the purpose of this Warranty, the names Cork Decor, Jelinek Cork Limited and Dodge Cork Canada Ltd. shall be considered interchangeable and therefore the warranty is applicable to any one or all of those named.
